About Artist:
Georgia had a steady hand, a great eye, and a penchant for creativity from as early as she was able to express herself. She was making up songs before she could speak, and now she loves to make up stories to tell her family. A lot of her current drawing (age 4) comes from things she has seen in nature, like butterflies, other insects, flowers and landscapes. She received a children's book about Georgia O'Keefe (whose name she shares) from her aunt (who shares her own love of nature through the medium of photography), and she absolutely loves the story of the artist's life, and looking at the images of her work. Georgia has also started rummaging our 'making box' at home for different materials she can use to represent what she wants to depict.
